Parliament consists of two chambers - the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.
The chamber of Deputies: there are 200 Deputies who are elected directly by the people for four terms.
The Senate: there are 81 Senators who are elected directly by the people.
The government is composed of the premier, the vice-premier and the ministers. In the Government are minister of Education, Youth and sports, the minister of Finance, the minister of Foreign Affairs. Minister of Defence, minister of Interior, minister of Justice, minister of Commerce, minister of Agriculture, minister of Transport, minister of Labour and social affairs, minister of Culture and minister of Health.
The Presidents is the Head of state. He is elected for a five-year term. However, the real power has the parliament and the government.
